History of R&H Engineering
Paul Robertson and Barry Hodges formed Robertson & Hodges
General Engineers Ltd (R&H Engineering) in December 1979. Both Paul
and Bary had worked for G Mayo & Son, a well established engineering
company in Hunters Corner area. When G. Mayo and Son closed, Paul and Barry
purchased the plant and equipment. Working from the same premises, Paul
and Barry quickly established a reputation for top quality service within
the local industry.
From this time, R&H Engineering has moved from strength
to strength. Whilst drawing on an established client base, new business
relationships were forged through providing an unequalled service and company
in Hunters Corner area. When G. Mayo and Son closed, Paul and Barry purchased the
plant, production based work carried over from G. Mayo and Son to become a more
flexible engineering service provider.
As time moved on, Barry Hodges sold his shares to Paul Robertson
within R&H, this enabled Steve Robertson to become a partner. Steve has now moved onto
greener pastures within a sign writing company in Hunters Corner.
Most of the staff has been with the company for over ten
years, which provides a consistent level of service to our clients. We are
constantly striving to maintain our high level of customer satisfaction while
continually improving our knowledge base.
